Miroslav Halas is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering and cloud infrastructure. Currently serving as Vice President of SRE and Developer Productivity at GEICO, Miroslav is responsible for managing a vast array of services and platforms while developing open-source infrastructure solutions. Prior to GEICO, Miroslav held leadership roles at Apple, overseeing the global Site Reliability Engineering organization and managing platforms that support Apple’s cloud infrastructure. Additional experience includes directing engineering teams at Lenovo, Bank of America, and several technology startups, where Miroslav focused on cloud solutions, infrastructure software engineering, and security. Miroslav holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University and an Ing. degree from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave.
