Lynsey Wood has worked in various roles as a structural designer and draughtsperson. Their most recent role is as a Senior Structural Designer at R&M Engineering (Huntly) Ltd. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Structural Designer and Senior Structural Designer at Global Energy Group. Lynsey also has experience as a Senior Structural Designer at Optimus Aberdeen Ltd, Scopus Engineering Ltd, and Wood Group PSN. Lynsey began their career as a Structural Designer at Woodgroup North Sea Engineering and RIM Fabrications, where they also gained experience as a Structural Draughtsperson. Lynsey has extensive experience using software such as AutoCAD, Tekla structures, Solidworks, and StruCAD.

Lynsey Wood received a Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering from York College in 1999-2001. Lynsey then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The Open University, which they completed from 2011-2023.
