Jennifer Padgett is an accomplished engineering manager currently leading at Gecko Robotics, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Jennifer held multiple positions at Aurora from January 2021 to May 2023, including Senior Staff Software Engineer and Senior Staff Technical Lead Manager in the Online Maps and Localization teams. Jennifer's experience at Uber, spanning from July 2017 to January 2021, involved roles as Senior Autonomy Engineer II, Senior Autonomy Engineer, and Software Engineer. Earlier in career, Jennifer taught and tutored at The Princeton Review and conducted research as a Student Researcher at My PowerMap LLC and the University of Maryland. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in Robotics from Cornell University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Rutgers University.
