Gareth Claase is an experienced professional in risk management and strategy, currently serving as the Founder of Gecko Glazing since October 2019. Prior to this venture, Gareth held significant roles including Senior Risk Strategy Manager for Info Security and Cyber Risk at HSBC, where development and embedding of the Information and Cyber Security Risk strategy were key responsibilities. Gareth also served as Interim Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Clydesdale Bank, delivering enhancements to the Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Reporting. At RBS, Gareth contributed as Enterprise Risk and Project Senior Manager, developing the Enterprise Risk Management framework, and previously worked as a Strategy and Financial Planning Manager at Lloyds Banking Group, as well as a Senior Economic Consultant in various industries. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Economics from The University of Manchester and an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
