Jane Spencer has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in power systems, with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at GE Power Conversion since May 2005, Jane has managed engineering deliverables across various projects while providing leadership in roles such as Engineering Manager and Section Leader for Offshore Power Systems. Prior to this role, Jane held positions at Converteam and Wise Technics Ltd, where responsibilities included project engineering for naval propulsion systems and overall business management, respectively. Earlier career roles encompassed significant engineering projects at J&T Electrical Controls Ltd and GEC Electrical Projects Ltd, focusing on control systems and diesel electric propulsion. Jane holds a BSc Hons in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds.
