Simon Hufnagel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Simon is currently working as a Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Aerospace Engineer at UES, Inc. from December 2020 to October 2021.

Simon has also worked at Belcan Engineering as a Gas Turbine Performance Engineer from October 2013 to April 2020. During this time, they were contracted to work with General Electric - Aviation, where they developed analysis tools and cycle models for various aircraft engines and regularly reported to customers. Simon was also granted Secret level clearance by the U.S. government since February 2017.

Earlier in their career, Simon worked as a Cargo Agent at Quantem Aviation Services for a brief period from May 2013 to September 2013. Simon also gained experience as a Student Associate and Storekeeper at Earhart Dining Court, Purdue Food and Housing Services from August 2009 to May 2013.

Simon's work experience also includes a seasonal role as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World in June 2012.

Simon Hufnagel received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University in the years 2009-2013.
