Neo Bodumela has a diverse work experience in journalism. They started their career as a journalist at Times Media Group - The Herald in 2010, where they specialized in lifestyle, health, and profile feature writing. After that, they moved on to work as a journalist at The New Age Media for a year, where they were involved in general news reporting, story sourcing, and conducting interviews. In 2015, Neo joined SABC as a freelance radio reporter, where they took the initiative to cover stories, provided quality scripts and voice-overs, and followed up on stories until the final broadcast. Currently, Neo is working at GCIS as an Assistant Director in the News Service.
Neo Bodumela attended Nelson Mandela University from 2007 to 2011, where they studied Journalism. During their time at the university, they focused on various subjects including Photography, Media Law, Broadcast Media, Print Media, Politics, Television, and Radio.
