Choong Yin, See is a seasoned professional in data engineering with extensive experience since February 2016 as a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Location Intelligence Services at GBG Plc. Responsibilities include mentoring the Kuala Lumpur data team and developing data manipulation systems (ETL) utilizing SQL, shell scripts, and Java, with a strong emphasis on enhancing geolocation reference data quality and optimizing data processing pipelines. Prior to GBG Plc, Choong Yin served as a Scientific Executive at ACGT Sdn Bhd, concentrating on bioinformatics and Next Generation Sequencing data analysis, while also gaining experience in statistical analysis and pipeline development.
