Prior to this role, John held the position of Executive Editor at the Centre Daily Times from September 2014 to September 2017, and Deputy Editor/Digital at The Wichita Eagle from September 2009 to August 2014. John's career in journalism began as Internet News Editor at the Rocky Mountain News, where tenure lasted from August 1991 to April 2009. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Utah State University.
