Jarit Taelman is a seasoned journalist with a focus on various aspects of reporting, currently contributing as a journalist at Gazet van Antwerpen since April 2018, specializing in fait divers and online content. Prior to this role, Jarit worked at Het Nieuwsblad from March 2014 to March 2018 as an online editor for Sportwereld and also gained experience as a freelance journalist in the same capacity. Educationally, Jarit holds a Professional Bachelor in Journalism from Arteveldehogeschool, completed in 2014, and previously attended Ghent University, where studies in Communication and Media Studies were undertaken from 2008 to 2010.
