Mark Leondires has over 25 years of medical experience. Mark began their career in 1991 as a Resident at Maine Medical Center. In 1995, they became a Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Intramural Research Program (IRP). In 1999, they joined the US Army as a Medical Director IVF program. In 2012, they founded Gay Parents To Be, an LGBTQ provider for biologically-related child via surrogacy, egg or sperm donor. In 2019, they founded Gays With Kids. Since 2002, they have been the Medical Director, Infertility Specialist & Reproductive Endocrinologist at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut, where they manage and runs a large infertility treatment / reproductive endocrinology practice with fertility center locations serving Fairfield County, Connecticut and Westchester, Putnam & Dutchess Counties in New York.
Mark Leondires obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont between 1987 and 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Biochemistry and History from Colby College between 1982 and 1986. In April 2002, they obtained a Board Certified Subspecialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
