Jake Rose joined Gaumont in 2019 as Head of Production U.S. Previous to being Executive Vice President of Production at Skydance Jake had 10 yrs at Sony overseeing a variety of TV pilots, movies and limited series. Working with HW’s top talent such as “The Company” – Ridley Scott, “The Wronged Man” – Gale Anne Hurd, “Georgia O’Keeffe” Directed by Bob Balaban, “A Raisin in the Sun” starring the Broadway cast and the award winning “Broken Trail” Directed by Walter Hill. A reboot of the feature Coma and a Steven King mini Bag of Bones starring Pierce Brosnan all went on to ratings success. The longest running series of TV Movies ever starring Tom Selleck playing the character of Jessie Stone is a consistent hit for CBS. The Client List yielded a successful series run on Lifetime and Hatfields and McCoys starring Kevin Costner & Bill Paxton was the top rated and awarded program in cable history. The reboot of Bonnie and Clyde Directed by Bruce Beresford was a certified hit and won Emmy gold. Pre Sony in 20 years of producing features and TV, Jake was consistently successful in ensuring his pictures got made on time and under budget leading a successful run. This knowledge of physical production married with the creative needs of each film is what landed him the production job at Sony. Jake produced films in all budget ranges such as “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls,” and “Street Fighter” as well as lower budget indies such as “Election,” “Steal This Movie”​ and Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s early feature, “Orgazmo,” Event Television like the Joyce Carol Oates novel “Blonde,” “Superfire” and the CBS biopic on Lucille Ball lead Jake into long form. Jake was an executive at Disney and CBC a motion-picture finance company overseeing a 300mm slate ensuring banks and investors received a proper return and budget protection. As Disney studios post production services head he had oversight of all VFX on Warren Beatty’s “Dick Tracy.” VP of Operations, Sound Fx Inc & VP Sales, Operations and Marketing Glen Glenn Sound were early posts.
