Ashwath Kini has been a Mechanical Engineer since 2009, starting with a role as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Bajaj Auto Ltd. In 2014, they took on a Senior Mechanical Engineer role at Textron Specialized Vehicles, where they gained experience with the North American work culture and middle market firms. In 2018, they moved to CNH Industrial as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In 2020, they became the Principal Owner of GWN Fabrication Group. Currently, they are a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Gatik, working at the cutting edge of technology and integrating sensor stacks into their AVs.

Ashwath Kini obtained their B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut from 2005 to 2009. Ashwath then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University Graduate School from 2012 to 2013. Most recently, they obtained a Certified 200H Yoga Teacher from the Sri Sri School of Yoga EUROPE in March 2021.
