Nat Thomas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Starting from 2007, Nat worked as an Account Director at Downstream Marketing, an agency specializing in Search Engine Marketing. They were responsible for managing client accounts and were part of the team that saw the company acquired by Adobe.
In 2008, Nat joined eBay and served as the Digital Marketing Manager. They later became the Head of Marketing & PR for Gumtree Australia, where they played a crucial role in promoting brand growth, customer acquisition, and driving business growth. Nat also took on the role of General Manager for Gumtree Singapore for a brief period.
In 2014, Nat became the Chief Operating Officer at Adzuna, a joint venture between a UK start-up and Fairfax Media. They oversaw marketing strategy, business operations, and growth for the Australian market.
From 2015 to 2016, Nat worked as the Marketing Director for Nextdoor, a local social network. During their tenure, they successfully grew the customer base, managed partnerships, and developed brand and acquisition strategies.
In 2017, Nat joined Lendi as the Chief Marketing Officer, where they played a key role in developing the marketing function and driving customer acquisition, engagement, and activity.
In 2018, Nat worked as a Marketing and Growth Consultant for various start-up technology businesses, focusing on developing foundation marketing and business strategies.
Nat then joined Brighte as the Head of Marketing & Growth in 2018 before transitioning to the role of Entrepreneur In Residence at Antler in 2021.
Currently, Nat holds the position of Head of Growth & Marketing at Gathered Here, Australia's largest end-of-life services site. In this role, they are responsible for driving growth and marketing strategies, including partnerships with charities to raise funds.
Throughout their career, Nat has demonstrated a strong track record of achieving results, building teams, and contributing to the growth of various organizations.
Nat Thomas completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Brighton, studying subjects such as Management, Marketing, Communication, Business Law, and Business Accounts. In August 2020, Nat obtained a certification in "The Role of the Director" from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
