Victor Zhou has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. In that year, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook, where they worked on the Pages Monetization Lightweight Interfaces team. Victor received a return offer. In 2016, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Google, where they worked on the Google Photos iOS Search team and built an offline autocomplete for the app. Victor received a return offer. In 2017, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Airbnb. In 2018, they returned to Facebook as a Software Engineer, working on Facebook Watch (Video). Victor led efforts in m-site, Live Video, SEO, and more. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In 2020, they joined Gather as a Staff Software Engineer.

Victor Zhou attended St. Mark's School of Texas from 2010 to 2014, and then went on to Princeton University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Computer Science in 2019.
