Debbie Durkin is an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal with a career spanning over three decades. Currently, at Gateway Risk Services, Inc., since May 2018, Debbie collaborates with defense counsel and colleagues to manage claims and support the defense of healthcare providers. Prior to this role, Debbie held a long-term position at Thomson Rhodes & Cowie from June 1999, focusing on litigation to protect hospitals and physicians, including medical record analysis and expert retention. Previous experience includes a Medical Malpractice Paralegal role at Burn White, and a Litigation Paralegal position at Nationwide Insurance, where general litigation support was provided. Earlier, from 1992 to 1997, support was also given in the medical malpractice context at Meyer Darragh Buckler Bebenek & Eck, P.L.L.C. Debbie holds an Associate's degree in Paralegal Certification from the Western School of Health & Business, earned between 1987 and 1989.
