Paul Heasman is an experienced educator currently serving as a Humanities Teacher at Gateway Public Schools since December 2012, specializing in History, English Language Arts, and Humanities for students in grades 9-12, including AP U.S. coursework. Previous teaching roles include a position as a Substitute Teacher at Aspire Public Schools and as a Student Teacher at Oceana High School, where Paul taught 11th grade AP U.S. Additionally, Paul has held various positions in customer service and research, including a Front Desk Manager role at Hostelling International and a Research Assistant position at the Alameda County Office of Education. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Modern World History and a Single Subject Credential in Secondary Education (History/Social Science) from San Francisco State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communication Studies from London Guildhall University.
