Lisa Sugarman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in crisis counseling, writing, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Crisis Counselor at The Trevor Project since August 2022, Lisa offers support to LGBTQ+ youth navigating various challenges. Lisa contributes to mental health awareness as a Contributor for the Mental Health Television Network and as a Storyteller with NAMI. Additionally, Lisa facilitates a Suicide Loss Survivor Grief Support Group with Samaritans Southcoast and engages in writing for Grown and Flown, LittleThings, and Thrive Global, focusing on parenting and positivity. With a longstanding career as a Nationally Syndicated Humor Columnist since 2009, Lisa's work has reached a wide audience through GateHouse Media. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Salem State University.
