Michal Rabara is an experienced executive in the microscopy and technology sectors, currently serving as the Treasurer for the International Federation of Societies for Microscopy, where responsibilities include financial coordination and support for research activities. As Vice President of Global Sales for both Gatan and EDAX, Michal oversees budgets and has achieved multiple record revenue periods while integrating teams for operational excellence. Previous roles include President & CEO of Tescan USA Inc., where strategic goals and market presence were significantly expanded, and Managing Director Asia at Gatan Inc., responsible for the fastest-growing region and securing major orders. Michal holds a Ph.D. in Quantum Engineering from The University of Tokyo, an MBA from the University of Bradford, and an M.Sc. in Material Science from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave.
