Christian Spielmann currently serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel since April 2009 and has held various leadership roles within the company, including Leiter Corporate Finance and Leiter Assetmanagement und Netzwirtschaft. Christian also holds positions on the board of directors for IWB Renewable Power AG and Gasverbund Mittelland AG, as well as serves as a director for IWB Net AG. Prior experience includes serving as Geschäftsführer at Übertragungsnetz Basel AG and project leader at Polynomics, alongside consultant roles at Plaut Economics and a research associate position at the Swiss National Bank. Christian's educational background features a recent engagement at the University of St.Gallen and a DAS in Finance from the University of Zurich, along with advanced studies in microeconomics and econometrics from Studienzentrum Gerzensee and a lic. rer.pol. in economics from the University of Basel.
