Joost de Ruijter is an experienced professional in the field of business development and project management, specializing in alternative fuels and hydrogen technologies. Currently serving as Hydrogen Business Development at Gasunie since September 2021, Joost focuses on the establishment of hydrogen import terminals in the Netherlands and Germany. Prior roles include business development at PitPoint.LNG, where Joost managed network development for LNG refueling stations, and network development manager at PitPoint B.V., overseeing the rollout of alternative fuel assets. Joost's background also includes extensive experience at Ballast Nedam in various managerial roles related to natural gas infrastructure. Joost holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
