Johan Boerema is a seasoned business developer specializing in green bio methane, currently employed at Gasunie since July 2020. Previously, Johan held various roles at GasTerra from September 2005 to July 2020, including Business Developer Green Bio Methane, where efforts focused on purchasing green bio methane for the Dutch gas grid and supporting new green gas projects. Johan also has experience in negotiating gas hub trading contracts, managing industrial sales, and conducting strategic research on energy markets and underground gas storages. Prior to GasTerra, Johan served as a Policy Advisor at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, with responsibilities including managing the Energy Centre Netherlands. Johan holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Groningen.
