Guus Vogels is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial management and business development within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Commercial Manager at EemsEnergy Terminal for Gasunie since January 2023, Guus has held various leadership positions, including Commercial Manager for Vopak LNG and CO2next, as well as Business Development Manager at German LNG Terminal GmbH. Additional roles include Account Manager at Gate terminal B.V. and Business Development Manager at Royal Vopak, coupled with earlier experience as a professional athlete in the Dutch field hockey team from 1996 to 2010. Guus holds two bachelor's degrees from De Haagse Hogeschool: one in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services and another in Mechanical Engineering, along with experience as a verenigingsmanager at HOC-Gazellen Combinatie HGC and an Intercedent at Randstad Techniek.
