Mazen Abou Hamad is an experienced construction and project manager, currently serving as a Construction Manager at Hatch since June 2019, where involvement in the Mary River Mine project, valued at $1.3 billion, presents significant technical and logistical challenges. At Gastier M.P. Inc., Mazen has worked as a Project Manager since September 2018, developing professional relationships with clients and overseeing project schedules and budgets for an oil refinery and distribution terminal. Prior to this role, Mazen accumulated extensive experience at Astaldi in various capacities including General Construction Manager Assistant, Lead Superintendent, Civil Superintendent, and Lead Field Engineer, managing construction activities, safety compliance, and budget control. Previous positions also include roles at RER Hydro Ltd. and Consolidated Contractors International Company, contributing to hydrokinetic site assessments and major infrastructure projects. Mazen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Concordia University, as well as certificates in Construction Law and Finance from York University and HEC Montréal respectively.
