Ulrich Benterbusch is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Geschäftsführer at GASCADE Gastransport GmbH. From January 2015 to December 2022, Ulrich held the position of Stellvertretender Abteilungsleiter at the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz, focusing on energy efficiency, the heat transition, gas, hydrogen, and sustainable mobility. Prior to this, Ulrich was Geschäftsführer at Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) from January 2014 to December 2015 and served as Direktor at the Internationale Energieagentur from January 2007 to December 2013. Ulrich also worked as an International Expert at the Bundeswirtschaftsministerium during the G8 summit in Heiligendamm from January 2006 to December 2007.
