Patrick Runion is an experienced production technician and operator with a robust background in power plant operations and maintenance. Currently serving at Garland Power & Light since February 2020, Patrick provides operations and maintenance support for multiple turbine and hydro units. Prior experience includes a role as Plant Operator O&M III at Technical Diagnostic Services, where responsibilities involved monitoring critical equipment in a supercritical boiler environment and operating various systems for emissions control. From June 2000 to January 2018, Patrick worked at Luminant in various capacities, including Equipment Specialist Mechanic/Operator and Multi Skill Tech, focusing on the inspection and maintenance of complex plant equipment and training new employees. Educational qualifications include a certificate in Electric Power Technology from Kilgore College and 47 CEUs in Power Plant Operations from Luminant Academy - Tyler Junior College.
