Patrick McCully has served with the Garland Police Department since 1993, currently holding the position of Captain in Community Services since April 2015. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing Specialized Crimes/Intelligence and Traffic, while also serving as Wellness Coordinator for the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program. Patrick has led various divisions within the department, including Criminal Investigations, and has focused on crime prevention and community engagement through initiatives like intelligence-led policing. An alumnus of the FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum, Patrick holds a Master of Science degree in Developmental and Child Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
