Collin Szewczyk is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in journalism and outdoor retail. Since August 2016, Collin has been serving as the Communications Coordinator for Garfield County Government in Colorado. Prior experience includes a role as a Reporter at Aspen Daily News from August 2014 to August 2016 and serving as the Outdoors/Night Editor at Glenwood Springs Post Independent from August 2008 to August 2014. Collin also worked in outdoor retail at Summit Canyon Mountaineering from December 2006 to August 2008 and spent several years at Hangge-Uppe night club in Chicago as a Ronk wrangler from February 2001 to October 2006. Collin holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, obtained between 1992 and 1998, and graduated from West Chicago High School in 1992.
