Imalka Marasinghe Arachchilage is a skilled Urethane Chemist III at Gardner-Gibson, Inc. since July 2021, with extensive experience in both academic and research settings. Arachchilage served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of South Florida from August 2015 to May 2021, following a role as a Research Officer at the Medical Research Institute of Sri Lanka, where research focused on drug interactions and biological effects. Prior experience includes work as a Scientific Officer at the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board, performing analytical tests on controlled substances, and as a Research Assistant and Demonstrator at the University of Colombo, conducting various analytical tests and teaching laboratory sessions. Arachchilage holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Chemistry from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Colombo.
