Marc Josefsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marc is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Gapps since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Valo from February 2021 to October 2022. From September 2020 to February 2021, Marc was the Head of Sales and Partners at Nomentia.
Before that, they spent a significant portion of their career at OpusCapita, where they held multiple roles. From October 2017 to September 2020, they were the Head of Strategic Sales and Head of International Sales and Partners, gaining valuable experience in partner engagement, organic market entry, and developing business models. From April 2016 to September 2017, Marc was the Head of Product Sales, focused on kick-starting global growth. From January 2013 to March 2016, they served as a Sales Executive, responsible for sales to global companies for complex solutions and services. Marc started their journey at OpusCapita as an Account Manager from June 2011 to December 2012.
Marc also had prior experiences at Neusoft Mobile Solutions and TietoEnator. At Neusoft Mobile Solutions, they served as a Delivery Group Manager from January 2010 to May 2011, where they had a broad set of responsibilities including sales, line management, and project ownership. Marc also worked as a Business Development Manager from December 2008 to January 2010. At TietoEnator, Marc held the role of a Senior Software Engineer from January 2007 to December 2008, where they gained experience in project management and software development. Marc started as a Software Engineer from October 2005 to January 2007.
Marc's earlier experiences include a role as a Configuration Management Engineer at Sysopen Digia from March 2004 to October 2005. Marc began their career as a Consultant at IT-Palvelu Marc Josefsson from August 2003 to March 2004. Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, project management, and software engineering.
Marc Josefsson completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, from 2000 to 2005. In 2020, they pursued a program in Transformational leadership at Henley Business School. From 2006 to 2011, they earned another Master of Science degree, this time in Economics from the University of Tampere 1925-2018.
