Debbie Mishan is an experienced legal professional specializing in privacy law and data security. Currently serving as Sr. Counsel Privacy at Gap since October 2022, Mishan advises on privacy compliance and maintains company-wide policies, with expertise in CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, CASL, and various state initiatives. Previously, as Privacy Counsel for FLEX by Fenwick from October 2021 to October 2022, Mishan provided legal support to technology companies. Earlier roles included Associate Counsel at Gotham Asset Management where responsibilities involved compliance management, and as Director at AIG overseeing policy management. Mishan also served as Chief Privacy Officer at Prudential Securities, implementing privacy policies and training programs, and held the position of Managing Attorney at the same firm, focusing on law department strategy and operations. Mishan holds a JD from Emory University School of Law and a BBA in Business Law from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
