Michael McCarter is a experienced newsroom leader with a strong background in visual journalism. Michael has held various editorial positions in companies such as Gannett, USA TODAY, and Evansville Courier & Press. McCarter has a Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from The University of Southern Mississippi and has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Clark Atlanta University. Throughout their career, Michael has been recognized for their contributions to the field, including winning the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Local News Reporting with their staff.
