Thomas Mikah has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical systems and engineering. Thomas started their career at the Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) as a Project Thesis member in 2015. Later, they joined Ecurie Aix - Formula Student Team RWTH Aachen e.V. as a Team Member Suspension from 2013 to 2015. Following this, Thomas worked as an Intern at Daimler AG from April to June 2016. Thomas then pursued a Bachelor Thesis role at the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Systems (ifas) from September 2016 to February 2017. Thomas rejoined Daimler AG as an Intern from October 2018 to March 2019 and also completed their Master Thesis there from April to October 2019. In 2020, they joined Gamma Technologies as an Account-Manager, where they were responsible for GT-SUITE, a CAE system simulation software. Currently, Thomas holds the position of an Application Engineer - Mechanical Systems at Gamma Technologies since January 2023.

Thomas Mikah completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University from 2011 to 2017. Thomas then pursued a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering and Transport at the same university from 2017 to 2019. In 2014-2015, Thomas also participated in a semester abroad program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) where they studied finance.
