Cole Heflin has worked in the tech industry since 2017. Cole began their career at Viasat Inc. as a Data Scientist, Software Engineer, and Data Analyst. In 2021, they joined ZenLedger as a Data Scientist, where they designed, developed, and deployed machine learning and heuristic based algorithms to improve the user experience of the core tax product. Cole also created ETL pipelines to extract data from multiple sources and send 10+ million rows to the data warehouse. In 2022, they began working as a Data Engineer at Gametime.

Cole Heflin attended Santa Fe Christian High School from 2011 to 2015. Cole then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Southern California from 2015 to 2019. Cole also obtained an Introduction to Programming Using Python certification from DataCamp in June 2018. Finally, Heflin earned their Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Southern California in 2019, as well as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in August 2019.
