Brian Severa is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and solutions architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at SECURA Insurance since July 2024, Brian is also involved in the Professional Unity Developer Program at GameDevHQ since June 2022. Previously, Brian dedicated over 17 years to Navitus Health Solutions in various roles, including Senior Solutions Architect and Senior Web Architect, where responsibilities included coaching junior developers, managing web development teams, and improving project efficiencies. Early career stages involved significant contributions as a Development Analyst at Bemis Company, and ownership of doIT! Technologies, where Brian provided independent consulting. Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
