Matías Peña

Matías Peña has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Matías worked as an Inside Sales Associate - LATAM at GameChange Solar starting in 2023. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they were a Project Administrator at Grupo Ingalfa. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation, specifically in the National Directorate of Forest Industry Development, where they provided management assistance and developed indicators for the forest industry sector. From 2016 to 2020, they held multiple roles at the same ministry, including Forest Industry Innovation and Competitiveness Director, Coordinator of the Forest Industry Competitiveness Board, and Consultant for the analysis and development of the forest industry sector. Before that, they worked as a Continuous Improvement Analyst at Coppel S.A. in 2015, where they focused on process reengineering and optimization projects. In 2013, they participated in a Work & Travel program in Australia and Southeast Asia. In 2012, they worked as a Junior Engineer at the Housing Institute & Secretariat of Habitat and Inclusion, primarily involved in budget planning and control for urbanization projects. Matías started their career as an intern at Ford Motor Company in 2011, where they conducted impact analysis and supported coordination of projects between plants in the Manufacturing Business Office, New Programs.

Matías Peña completed a Diploma in Development and Financing of Renewable Energy Projects at Universidad del CEMA in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, which they pursued from 2006 to 2013. Matías completed their secondary education at Colegio Cardenal Newman, where they earned a Bilingual Bachelor with a Natural Sciences modality from 1994 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Matías has obtained several certifications, including Fundamentos de big data from LinkedIn in December 2020, Driving business towards the Sustainable Development Goals from Coursera in August 2020, IELTS General Training from IELTS Official in October 2013, and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education - 10 exams from Cambridge International Examinations in November 2003.
