James Conneely is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public service and cybersecurity. Currently serving as a Clerical Office Worker at Galway City Council since June 2023, James previously held the position of Garda at An Garda Síochána from November 2016 to July 2023. Prior to this, service as a Private in the Defence Forces of Ireland from April 2011 to November 2016 was completed. James holds a Professional Diploma in Cyber-security from UCD Professional Academy and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Policing from the University of Limerick. Additionally, educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Music Production and a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology and Production from Limerick Institute of Technology.
