Tyler Cords is an experienced aviation professional with a comprehensive background in airline operations and flight instruction. Currently serving as an Airline Pilot at Horizon Air since January 2018, Tyler operates as a part 121 captain on the Embraer E175, conducting domestic and Canadian flights. Additionally, Tyler has held the position of Captain at Kenmore Air Harbor, Inc. since November 2014, overseeing scheduled and charter services in the Pacific Northwest. As a Certified Flight Instructor at Galvin Flying Services since August 2006, Tyler focuses on advanced aircraft training. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Technical Pilot at GE Aviation from August 2010 to January 2018, and earlier positions at Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and multiple type ratings in various aircraft.
