Katy De La O is an experienced professional in the field of public policy and legal assistance. Currently serving as a Supervising Paralegal at the Galveston-Houston Immigrant Representation Project since April 2023, Katy has previously held roles including Public Policy Fellow at Sandia National Laboratories and Bilingual Legal Orientation Program Legal Assistant at the YMCA of Greater Houston. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Policy from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Houston-Downtown. Additionally, Katy contributed as Team Lead for the HoustonLEADS program at the Houston Hispanic Forum and has experience as a Supplemental Instruction Leader and Orientation Leader at the University of Houston-Downtown.
