Alexa Thompson, M.S., SHRM-CP, currently serves as Payroll & Onboarding Manager at Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith since August 2018, with prior roles as a Human Resources Specialist and Human Resources Assistant. Previously, Alexa worked at Valdosta State University as a Graduate Assistant, where important improvements were made in organizing student applications and training new Graduate Assistants. Alexa also held an internship with Kendra Scott, collaborating on corporate partnerships to enhance employee satisfaction and developing training materials. Early career experience includes a receptionist position at Ross Keene Law, focusing on client communication and office organization. Alexa holds a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas.
