Dr. James Grimaldi, Psy.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of psychology. Dr. James is currently working as a Behavioral Health Clinician (Digital) at Galileo since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as a School Psychologist at The Speyer Legacy School from January 2019 to July 2021. From November 2016 to January 2019, Dr. Grimaldi worked as a Psychologist/Behavioral Specialist at the League Education and Treatment Center. During their time at Vassar College, they also participated in a semester abroad program at the University of Cape Town.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Dr. Grimaldi pursued a Master of Arts degree in General Psychology at The New School from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they attended Pace University and earned a Master's of Science degree in Education with a concentration in School Psychology from 2010 to 2014.

Dr. Grimaldi's educational journey continued at Pace University, where they obtained a Doctor of Psychology degree in School-Clinical Child Psychology from 2010 to 2017. This advanced degree further equipped him with the skills necessary to work in a clinical setting, specializing in child psychology.

In addition to their educational achievements, Dr. Grimaldi holds two notable certifications. Dr. James is a Licensed Psychologist granted by the New York State Education Department, which they obtained in February 2019. Dr. James also holds a Permanent Certificate as a School Psychologist, also obtained from the New York State Education Department in February 2019. These certifications further authenticate their qualifications and demonstrate their commitment to professional excellence in the field of psychology.
