Jose Ayub Gonzalez Garrido has worked in the aerospace industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Systems Engineer - Wireless Cabin Communication Systems at Airbus Germany and a Systems Engineer - Consultant at BeOne Hamburg GmbH. From 2010 to 2012, they were an LTE RF Conformance Systems at Rohde & Schwarz. In 2012, they became the Co-Founder & CEO of GALGUS, where they created high quality WiFi networks, with strong security, cloud-based configuration and monitoring and with the most powerful WiFi-based location analytics. During their time at GALGUS, they were awarded several honors, including "Best Digital Transformation" by Andalucia Capital Awards provided by A3Media Group and Onda Cero in 2021, "Best Innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics" by Tourism Innovation Summit in November 2021, "Best In-Flight Innovation" together with Miltope at Aircraft Passenger Experience Expo APEX in Los Angeles in 2019, and "Best Wireless Industrial Service Innovation" by WBA Wireless Broadband Alliance in New York in 2017. Additionally, they were the Technical Lead at AirVOD Ltd in 2012, where they led the technical team to design, develop and certify the first on-board In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) System using cabin wireless network to integrate self-contained Android-based Seatcentric Players of the world.
Jose Ayub Gonzalez Garrido has a diverse educational background. Jose Ayub obtained their MSc in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla in 2006. Jose Ayub also studied at Technische Universität Dresden from 2005 to 2006, where they completed a Master Thesis in Mobile Wireless Ad Hoc Networks. In 2007, they earned an MBA from Zurich Elite Business School, specializing in Technology management, project management, law, marketing, strategy and innovation management. In 2015, they completed the Ignite Fast Track program at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Entrepreneurship. Additionally, they are an Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certified by INCOSE: International Council on Systems Engineering.
