Kristcha DeGuerre is a lecturer and counselor specializing in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Currently a Graduate Research Assistant conducting child welfare policy analysis research. Kristcha is a doctoral student focusing on research related to gang-involved women, trauma, mental health, and child maltreatment. Previously worked as a therapist providing counseling services to adolescents and young offenders with mental health issues. Also managed volunteer internship programs for wildlife sanctuary. Experienced in career advising and social work internships as well. Holds a Master's degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work.
