Engr. Olajide Odeyemi COREN, MNSE, MBA, HCIP-Tx, HCIP-DCF is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in fiber optic planning and implementation. Currently, as Manager of Fiber Network at Galaxy Backbone Limited since May 2014, Olajide oversees the planning and implementation of the eGovernment Fiber Optic Backbone Cable project, connecting over 200 government agencies across several Nigerian states. Prior to this role, Olajide served as 3G/Swap Coordinator and Project Manager at Globacom Limited, where responsibilities included coordinating 3G rollout and fiber optics planning nationwide. Early career experience includes managing fiber optic projects at BT Technologies LTD and working as a Computer Hardware Engineer at System Konsult Ltd. Olajide holds an MBA in Marketing and a PGD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
