Shawn Fairhurst is an experienced Operations Research Analyst currently serving as a Senior at Galapagos Federal Systems since July 2021. Prior to this role, Shawn held positions as Senior Principal Systems Engineer at KBR, Inc. and Centauri. A distinguished veteran of the USAF, Shawn's extensive military career includes significant leadership roles such as Deputy Director of Strategic Requirements at Air Force Space Command and Vice Commander of the 45th Space Wing. Shawn's expertise encompasses developing requirements and strategic planning for space and cyber systems, as well as validation of joint requirements for C4 and Cyber capabilities. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the USAF Air War College, a Master of Science in Management from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
