Ofer Yitzhaki is an experienced professional in the fields of biotechnology and analytical chemistry, currently serving as the QC lab manager and senior analytical chemist at Galam since November 2017. Ofer's previous roles include senior researcher at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where research focused on redox regulation, inflammation, and cancer, as well as senior researcher at Rambam Health Care Campus, examining mitochondrial mechanisms in psychiatric disorders. Additionally, Ofer held the position of senior application engineer at CheckLight, a biotech startup specializing in water quality testing, and contributed significantly to the development of laboratory methods and protocols during earlier research roles at Technion and Tel Aviv University. Ofer Yitzhaki earned a master's degree in biotechnology and dual bachelor's degrees in biology and biotechnology, all from Technion.
