John McDonough has extensive work experience in customer success, account management, sales, and consulting roles. John most recently worked at Gainsight, where they held the position of Senior Customer Success Manager since April 2020. Prior to that, they were a Customer Account Manager at Gainsight from October 2018 to April 2020.

Before joining Gainsight, John worked at Envoy as an Engagement Manager from November 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing end-to-end implementation projects for Zendesk applications, conducting discovery sessions, documenting business rules, and providing training and support during go-lives.

In addition to their degree, John McDonough has obtained several certifications from Gainsight, including the Gainsight NXT Administrator Certification (Level 3), the Gainsight NXT Reports & Dashboards Certificate (Level 2), and the Gainsight NXT Associate Administrator Certificate (Level 1). John obtained these certifications in May 2021, December 2021, and January 2023, respectively.
