Mouhamed Diouf

Managing Director Orbus Factory at GAINDE 2000

Mouhamed Diouf has a diverse range of work experience. Mouhamed started their career as a Software Developer at MKS from 1996 to 1998. Mouhamed then worked as a Chief Developer for the Gouvernement Du Quebec, leading a team and developing a human resources optimization system for the Health Ministry from 2000 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2013, Diouf worked at Gainde 2000, Customs Computer Systems, where they served as the Technical Coordinator for International Norms and Standards, managing the development team for the rollout of a modernization program for the Kenyan customs. Mouhamed also represented Senegal for international standards.

In 2013, Diouf joined the African Alliance for e-Commerce as the Project Commission Vice Chair until 2017. Simultaneously, they owned Web Migrations, their own venture, from 1999 to 2017.

Returning to Gainde 2000, they held positions as the Director of Support and Production Means from 2013 to 2017, the Lead Implementer from 2011 to 2019, and the Director of Innovation, Project Management, and Business Analysis from 2017 to 2019.

Currently, they are serving as the Managing Director of Orbus Factory at Gainde 2000, Customs Computer Systems.

Mouhamed Diouf has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, obtained from 1989 to 1993. Mouhamed also holds a certification in Digital Strategy from HEC Paris, acquired from 2020 to 2023, and a certificate in Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in the year 2023. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including MongoDB Certified DBA Associate (C100DBA), MongoDB Certified Developer, Associate (C100DEV), Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate, and edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to MongoDB using the MEAN Stack.
