Will Paton is a Process Engineer at Prolific Machines Inc. Will previously worked as a Process Development Engineer at Mission Barns from August 2018 to November 2021, where they were responsible for planning fundraising events with parents and alumni, guiding younger members in planning large-scale events, and approving newsletters and website updates. Will also won the Mark J. Galbo Award for most outstanding returning undergraduate in the chapter while at Mission Barns. Prior to that, Will worked as a Global Social Benefit Fellow at Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship from March 2017 to December 2017, where they conducted market research to help Nurture Africa, an NGO in Nansana, Uganda that provides health, financial, and educational services to vulnerable families to help lift them out of poverty, better provide health care to its target beneficiaries. As a result of their work, Will developed a patient journey map and transition analysis with recommendations to Nurture Africa’s management to aid them in their transition to a social enterprise business model.
Will Paton has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University. Will also has an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Littleton High School. Will is certified in Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera. Will is also certified in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp from Udemy.
