Shawn Slaymon is an experienced Project Environmental Specialist at GAI Consultants, Inc., since September 2022, focusing on the development of NEPA documents and stormwater management. Prior to this role, Shawn served as Stormwater Team Lead at the Indiana Department of Transportation from June 2007 to April 2024, overseeing stormwater programs and managing a team of specialists. Additional experience includes Landscape Specialist with responsibilities for technical specification reviews and landscape design, as well as an interim role as Stormwater Team Lead during a period of transition to remote work. Earlier positions include a Landscape Architecture Internship at the Chicago Park District and landscape maintenance at Brenwick Development. Shawn holds a Bachelor's of Science in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University.
